Club Together Trophy tournament takes centre stage

Details of season-long half time tournament to be contested between youngsters involved with Wanderers' Club Together incentive

As part of Wanderers’ half time entertainment for the current campaign, junior teams affiliated with the popular Club Together scheme will go up against each other in a traditional penalty shootout on the pitch.

First seen during the Whites' home game against Sheffield Wednesday back in September, this weekend's clash with Huddersfield Town sees Astley & Buckshaw Under-10s take on Bury Juniors Under-11s with Lofty the Lion and Lofty Junior acting as goalkeepers.

The winners will progress to Finals Day when Bolton host Norwich City on Saturday 11 April 2015, with Eagley JFC already having booked their place in the final having won the first challenge earlier this season.

The home fixtures on which the challenge will take place are as follows:

Huddersfield Town - Saturday 29 November 2014
Ipswich Town - Saturday 13 December 2014
Watford - Saturday 14 February 2015
Millwall - Saturday 14 March 2015
Norwich City – Saturday 11 April 2015 (Finals Day)

Wanderers’ Club Together scheme offers local football teams, schools, universities and youth groups the opportunity to come along to Macron Stadium to watch a great selection of fixtures for a discounted rate, with every ticket purchased earning money back for your club or school.

What’s more, 30% of your Club Together cash will go towards your very own Macron teamwear.
