A look ahead to U21s’ league clash with Blackburn
Wanderers’ Under-21s take on local rivals Blackburn Rovers on Monday night at the County Ground, Leyland in their first match of 2015.
The young Whites lost their last match in the U21 Premier League Cup against Reading but were triumphant in their last league outing, claiming an impressive 3-1 victory away at Arsenal, and currently sit seventh in the table.
In comparison, visitors Blackburn are a place behind in Bolton in eighth having lost their last three matches, while they have won just one of their last nine fixtures in a run that stretches back to mid-September.
Kick-off is at 7pm with tickets costing £3 for adults, £1 for concessions and free to season ticket holders.
