American defender pays special visit to local school
Tim Ream paid a visit to Queensbridge Primary School in Farnworth on Thursday afternoon to help promote the importance of reading.
The American defender was a special guest at the school’s assembly.
After lending a helping hand to the teachers at reading a story to the group of children, Ream then answered a series of questions about his reading habits during his childhood.
“The questions were great,” Ream said. “Reading books at a young age certainly encouraged me to use my imagination.
“In the modern day, it’s important we continue to champion the benefits of reading.”
