Loan watch: Oscar Threlkeld scores first senior goal

Midfielder on scoresheet as Plymouth suffer derby defeat to Exeter City

Oscar Threlkeld scored his first senior goal as Plymouth Argyle lost to local rivals Exeter City on Saturday.

Having fallen behind to a first half Ryan Harley brace, the midfielder halved the deficit on the hour-mark, but it was not enough to earn the Sky Bet League Two leaders a share of the spoils as they suffered a derby defeat.

In the Sky Bet Championship, Liam Trotter started for Nottingham Forest as they fell to a last-minute defeat away at Brentford.

The midfielder completed 67 minutes before being replaced by Jonathan Williams shortly after Sergi Canos had fired the Bees ahead.

Henri Lansbury equalised soon after for Forest, but Philipp Hofmann struck in injury-time to clinch the win.

Elsewhere in the division, Rob Hall came on as a 71st minute substitute in place of Dean Bowditch as MK Dons drew 1-1 at home to Fulham.

Bowditch opened the scoring, before Moussa Dembele levelled the scores shortly before the break as the tie ended in stalemate.

Meanwhile in Sky Bet League One, Hayden White completed 90 minutes for Blackpool as Adam Thompson's solitary strike saw them lose 1-0 away at to Southend United.
