MBNA Northwest Football Awards winners to be announced tonight

Zach Clough and the Bolton Wanderers Community Trust are both up for awards at the annual ceremony

Zach Clough will find out if he has won the Mob Sport Rising Star of the Year award at the 2015 MBNA Northwest Football Awards tonight.

The forward is one of six players shortlisted for the accolade, with the winner set to be announced at the awards ceremony at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford.

Clough joins Manchester City’s Angelino, Manchester United’s Axel Tuanzebe, Preston North End’s Daniel Johnson, Chester’s Ben Heneghan and Accrington Stanley’s Josh Windass in the category.

Bolton Wanderers Community Trust have also been named as finalists in two categories at tonight's Awards.

Having won the accolade for Community Initiative of the Year back in November 2013 for their ‘Hearts & Goals’ campaign, the Trust are once again in the mix to secure the award for their ‘Wanderers at War’ initiative which has been running throughout the course of the year, while they have also been nominated for Community Club of the Year.

Ex-Wanderer Tim Ream has also made the shortlist for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Year award.

Bolton’s Player of the year in 2014 and 2015, the American international faces competition from Blackburn Rovers’ Marcus Olsson and Wigan Athletic’s Jason Pearce.
