First team pair in attendance at latest supporter evening of the Lancaster branch of Bolton fans
Jay Spearing and David Wheater were special guests at the latest Lancaster Whites social event on Thursday evening.
The pair headed up the M6 to the Boot and Shoe pub in Lancaster to meet supporters of all ages before taking part in a question and answer session.
Around 60 members from the Lancaster Whites supporters’ branch were in attendance on the night, which also included a raffle with signed shirts from Spearing and Wheater up for grabs.
Before the end of the night fans had the opportunity to pose for photos and get autographs from the duo.
“We appreciate the support from our fanbase, wherever they are based,” Spearing said after the event.
“It’s something that has stuck with me since joining the club, and we’re grateful to the hard work the guys at the Lancaster Whites put in in following us home and away.”
