International watch: Medo Kamara starts in Sierra Leone defeat

Midfielder completes 90 minutes in World Cup defeat

Medo Kamara started for Sierra Leone as they lost to Chad in the first leg of their 2018 World Cup first round qualifying tie.

The midfielder competed the full 90 minutes for the Leone Stars, picking up a booking just before the hour-mark, as Chad midfielder Leger Djimrangar's goal just after the interval secured a 1-0 win for the hosts.

With a place in the second round against Egypt up for grabs, the two sides will meet again in Nigeria for the second leg on Tuesday 13 October.
