Loan watch: Liam Trotter scores on Nottingham Forest debut

Hayden White also scores first professional goal for Blackpool

Liam Trotter marked his Nottingham Forest debut with a goal as the Tricky Trees came from behind to secure a late draw at home against his former side Ipswich Town.

Having fallen behind to Jonathan Parr’s second-half half-volley, the midfielder equalised for Forest deep into stoppage-time, tapping home into an empty net after Jorge Grant’s initial strike was blocked on the line to earn his new temporary side a share of the spoils.

Hayden White was also on the scoresheet on Saturday as his first professional goal helped Blackpool beat Crewe Alexandra at Bloomfield Road.

The defender fired the Tangerines in front just after the hour-mark, before Jack Redshaw struck a late penalty to seal all three points.

Back in the Championship, Rob Hall completed 67 minutes as MK Dons fell to a 3-0 defeat away at Queens Park Rangers.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas fired the Hoops ahead shortly after Hall was replaced by Carl Baker, with late goals from Matt Phillips and Junior Hoilett wrapping up the victory.

In League Two, Oscar Threlkeld came on as an 84th minute substitute as Plymouth Argyle secured a last-minute win over ten-man Luton Town.

Replacing former Wanderer Gregg Wylde, the defender was on the pitch to see Ryan Brunt seal the win late on at Kenilworth Road after Carl McHugh’s opener had been cancelled out by Josh McQuoid.

Elsewhere, Conor Wilkinson was an unused substitute as Barnsley lost 1-0 at home to Fleetwood Town.
