Bolton Wanderers to create new business partnership opportunities

Club launch new partnership with UK's biggest digital sports network, Eleven Sports Media

Bolton Wanderers have launched an exciting new opportunity for businesses which will provide a platform through which to create an incredible reach amongst fans thanks to a new partnership with the UK’s biggest digital sports network, Eleven Sports Media.

Launching in October, Bolton will unveil a ground-breaking new stadium-wide digital communications platform that will empower businesses to create huge exposure and be a bigger part of the matchday experience.

Bolton’s new Partner Programme creates a powerful multi-channel platform for businesses to reach tens of thousands of fans throughout Macron Stadium, and take their message to a potential television audience of millions.

A new five-tiered range of partnership packages are available, allowing businesses of different sizes to reach fans throughout every stage of the matchday. The new programme will allow businesses to become an official partner and create incredible impact by delivering their message across many different channels, including a new dual sided digital perimeter LED system, match programme, concourse TV network, website, email, and revolutionary new digital screen display.

At the heart of the transformation, and a first in European football, Bolton Wanderers have installed a new generation stadium LED screen provided by ADI – the UK’s leading supplier of digital stadium technology. Breaking from tradition, the screen features a new vertical layout, featuring powerfully creative content offering fans a whole new perspective on the conventional match day experience.

The new Partner Programme structure has been devised by Eleven Sports Media, working closely with Bolton Wanderers, to help businesses achieve greater value for their investment. Eleven bring a huge wealth of experience, having delivered high impact digital campaigns at sports venues for more than a decade.

Businesses joining the Partner Programme will receive many more benefits beyond brand exposure - gaining access to non-seasonal match tickets and hospitality, creating opportunity to invite clients to experience matchday at Macron Stadium. Partners will also join an exclusive group of likeminded organisations to take part in Bolton Business Club networking events.

More than an advertising platform, the new digital infrastructure will focus on delivering engaging content to fans throughout the matchday, boosting exposure for partners. Part of the stadium-wide transformation will see the introduction of Eleven Sport Media’s StatZone platform, which takes live match data feeds and creates stunning animated visuals to keep fans up to date with key stats and create greater engagement.

Speaking about the launch of the new platform, Bolton Wanderers, Head of Commercial, Richard Gough said: “This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for businesses in the North West to create huge exposure amongst our fan base. The new vertical stadium screen will be the first of its kind in Europe and will allow us to deliver really creative content for our fans and partners. This, combined with the power of a new dual sided perimeter LED system and new digital displays throughout concourse and hospitality zones creates a hugely compelling platform.

“Ultimately our objective is to deliver greater value to our commercial partners and enhance the experience with fans – working with Eleven Sports Media and ADI, we’ve been able to achieve that.”
