Conor Wilkinson also features in Johnstone's Paint Trophy first round
Oscar Threlkeld came off the bench to make his Plymouth Argyle debut last night.
The defender replaced former Wanderer Gregg Wydle in the 83rd minute as the Pilgrims came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 away at AFC Wimbledon, as they progressed to the second round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
Elsewhere, Conor Wilkinson was also a late substitute for Barnsley’s as the Tykes also secured their place in the next round.
Coming on for Dan Crowley in the 87th minute, Wilkinson helped Lee Johnson’s side see out their 2-1 victory away at Scunthorpe United.
