Vote for Ben Alnwick to win PFA's Fans' November Player of the Month

Voting now open to help Wanderers' goalkeeper secure the monthly gong

Voting is now open for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for November with Wanderers goalkeeper Ben Alnwick in the running for the accolade.

Stepping up to replace the injured Mark Howard midway through the month, the shot-stopper kept clean sheets in each of his three Sky Bet League One starts during the month as the Whites finish November second in the table.

The 29-year-old faces competition from Gillingham's Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Chesterfield's Jay O'Shea, Charlton Athletic's Patrick Bauer, Scunthorpe United's Scott Wiseman and Southend United's Will Atkinson.

Alnwick will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of team-mates Jay Spearing and Zach Clough who won the award for August/September and October respectively.

The shortlist was chosen by an expert panel which included Sky Sports pundits Paul Merson, Ian Holloway, Peter Beagrie, Mike Riley - general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials, and Malcolm Clarke - chairman of the Football Supporters' Federation.

One voting fan in each division will win the chance to meet and present the award to each PFA Fans' Player of the Month.

Voting will close at 6pm tonight (Thursday 1 December) with the winner announced at 10am tomorrow.
