Preview: Chorley v Bolton Wanderers XI

A look ahead to the young Whites' Harold Taylor Memorial Trophy clash on Tuesday

Bolton Wanderers XI face Chorley in the Harold Taylor Memorial Trophy on Wednesday night as their pre-season preparations continue.

The annual fixture, played in memory of Chorley’s previous long-serving club secretary Harold Taylor, will take place at Victory Park and kick off at 7.30pm.

Wanderers, who drew 1-1 with Crewe Alexandra in their last outing and are unbeaten so far throughout pre-season, are the current holders of the trophy after Kainye Woolery's solitary strike saw them win 1-0 last season.

The Magpies, managed by former Bolton forward Matt Jansen, finished eighth in the National League North in the 2015/16 campaign.

Tickets will be available on the turnstiles and cost £5, with free admittance to accompanied under-12s.

If fans cannot make the game, a match report will be available on www.bwfc.co.uk following the final whistle.
