International watch: Rob Holding reaches Toulon Tournament Final

Defender completes full 80 minutes in narrow win over Japan as England youngsters set up final clash

Rob Holding picked up his second England U21 cap on Friday afternoon as the young Lions clinched a place in the Toulon Tournament Final with a 1-0 win over Japan.

Having made his bow earlier in the week against Guinea, the 20-year-old figured once again for the full 80 minutes as Gareth Southgate's side picked up their fourth consecutive victory courtesy of Lewis Baker's penalty kick.

England's youngsters will now face hosts France in the final in Avignon on Sunday having scored a total of 13 goals en route to the tournament showpiece.
