Midfielder wins award for second month running
Jay Spearing has been chosen as Bolton Wanderers' KIA Player of the Month for September 2016 by the Club's supporters.Winner of the award in August, the midfielder continued his impressive start to the campaign in the second month of the season as he featured in four of the Whites' matches throughout September.
Supporters voted for the award on Facebook, with the Liverpudlian clinching a narrow victory ahead of goalkeeper Mark Howard, while David Wheater rounded off the top three.
Fan Kelly Jenkinson meanwhile has won hospitality in the Platinum Suite for a game of her choice by voting, where she'll present Spearing with his accolade at an upcoming home game.
