Club appoints new Head of Marketing and Communications

Paul Holliday returns to Wanderers following six years at Lancashire County Cricket Club

Paul Holliday has been appointed as Bolton Wanderers Football Club’s new Head of Marketing and Communications.

Holliday arrives at the Macron Stadium after spending just over six years with Lancashire County Cricket Club where he oversaw media and public relations across cricket and the venue’s conferencing and events business.

Prior to his tenure at Emirates Old Trafford, Holliday spent 14 years with Bolton Wanderers working in the Ticket Office and latterly as Media and PR Manager.

Holliday, who hails from Bolton, said: “I’m delighted to be back at Macron Stadium after an enjoyable time at Emirates Old Trafford.

“It was fantastic to see some familiar faces and meet with new colleagues who are all very passionate about Bolton Wanderers.

“As well as looking to continually improve how the Club connects with our supporters and other stakeholders, I will be looking to reposition the brands of Bolton Wanderers Football Club, Macron Stadium and Bolton Whites Hotel to ensure that the business fully maximises our revenue generating opportunities.”

Holliday began his role on September 20.
