Ref watch: Mark Heywood to oversee Bradford visit

Confirmation of officials for Saturday's clash with the Bantams

Mark Heywood will officiate Wanderers’ Sky Bet League One clash with Bradford City at Macron Stadium this afternoon.

He has overseen nine matches so far this season, issuing 42 yellow cards and one red.

The West Yorkshire based official has been involved in the professional game for the past six seasons but has only over been the man in the middle of one Bolton game previously – a 3-1 win over Brentford here in October 2014.

He has however overseen five Bantams games over the course of his refereeing career to date, four of which have seen defeats for City alongside one draw.

The last time he took charge of one of their fixtures meanwhile was against Preston in April 2015, a match which saw the Lilywhites run out 3-0 winners.

Geoffrey Liddle and Nigel Smith will run the line, whilst Scott Oldham is the fourth official.

Last Season (2015/16): Games: 27 | Yellows: 91 | Red: 7
