U18s: Bolton 4-0 Colchester United

Youngsters pick up their second successive league victory in their latest outing on Saturday

Wanderers' Under-18s ran out comfortable winners over their Colchester United counterparts at Lostock on Saturday morning.

Starting the game with a young team which included five Under-16s in the XI and three on the bench, the Whites dominated from the outset and were rewarded in the seventh minute as Cameron Moore beat two players before passing to Ronan Darcy who scored from a tight angle.

Nicky Spooner's side had other opportunities to extend their lead meanwhile with Ryan White and Alex Samizadeh both going close.

White was instrumental in Bolton's second however as he beat two defenders and crossed, with a Colchester man putting through his own net.

Come the second half, Wanderers continued their dominance and created numerous chances before going further ahead courtesy of Samizadeh's close-range effort from a Jordan Grant cross.

White was again involved meanwhile for the Trotters' fourth, with him crossing for Laurence Smith to fire home and ensure a handsome scoreline come the full time whistle.
