Ref watch: Eltringham to oversee Wanderers v Hull City

Geoff Eltringham will oversee Wanderers' New Year's Day clash at home to Hull City on Monday afternoon.

An experienced official in the game, the County Durham-based referee has been involved in league football since 2008 and last officiated a Bolton Wanderers fixture when the Whites drew 1-1 with Fulham back in October.

That day, he dished out five yellow cards.

This season meanwhile, he has overseen 17 games in the Championship, League One and the EFL Cup, doling out 56 yellows and one red card so far.

Philip Dermott and James Wilson will run the line, while Peter Bankes is the fourth official.
