Stephen Martin will take charge of Wanderers’ Sky Bet Championship clash away at Sheffield United this weekend.
An experienced official in the game, the Staffordshire-based referee has been involved in league football since 2008 and last officiated a Bolton Wanderers fixture when the Whites beat Norwich City at Macron Stadium in November.
That day, he dished out six yellow cards.
This season meanwhile, he has overseen 23 games in the Championship, League One and various cup competitions, doling out 47 yellow and two red cards so far.
Matthew McGrath and Daniel Robathan will run the line, while Christpher Sarginson is the fourth official.
