Bolton Wanderers sign Reece Wabara

Free agent links up with Wanderers on a deal until the end of the 2016/17 campaign

Bolton Wanderers are delighted to announce the signing of Reece Wabara on a deal until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old defender was on the books of Manchester City as a youngster but spent much of his time with the Etihad Stadium outfit on loan with the likes of Ipswich, Oldham, Blackpool and Doncaster Rovers.

Joining the latter on a permanent deal in 2014 after leaving City, he enjoyed a season at the Keepmoat Stadium before agreeing terms with Barnsley where he remained until early last year.

During the latter stages of the 2015/16 season meanwhile, he spent time with Wigan Athletic as the Latics won promotion from Sky Bet League One.

The former England youth international has now agreed terms with Wanderers however for the remainder of the current campaign.
