Jamie Proctor and Chris Taylor both figured for their respective loan sides in the EFL's round of midweek fixtures.
Proctor played 76 minutes of Carlisle's 2-1 win over Doncaster Rovers - a game which saw United two goals ahead courtesy of a Nicky Adams effort and a Niall Mason own goal before Tommy Rowe snatched a 95th minute consolation for the visitors.
Taylor meanwhile played the entirety of Oldham's 1-0 win over Charlton with Ollie Banks' fourth minute effort proving decisive come full time.
