Forward wins award after impressing during the month
Gary Madine has been voted Bolton Wanderers' KIA Player of the Month for December 2016 by the Club's supporters.An ever-present throughout the month, the forward started all five of the Whites outings during December, scoring three goals and setting up a further two along the way.
The highlight of Madine's month came against Gillingham as he put in a man-of-the-match performance in front of the Sky cameras, scoring twice as the Whites claimed an emphatic 4-0 victory at Macron Stadium.
Supporters voted for the award on Facebook, with the forward clinching an emphatic victory ahead of August and September's winner Jay Spearing, with David Wheater rounding off the top three.
Meanwhile, fan Andrew Gallagher has won hospitality in the Platinum Suite for a game of his choice by voting, where he'll present Madine with his accolade at an upcoming Trotters home match.
