Former Bolton Wanderers striker John McGinlay will be hosting a charity golf day at Bolton Golf Club on Friday 11 August to support Bolton Wanderers Community Trust with their work in the local area.
McGinlay, who netted over 100 times for Wanderers, will be joined by other former Bolton players at the event as they swap their football boots for golf clubs.
Teams of four will compete throughout the day with the event resulting in a trophy presentation, while several prizes can be won throughout.
Players will have the option to enter as a team of four or as a team of three, selecting a fourth member from the chosen Wanderers stars.
As well as having the opportunity to compete, companies can also sponsor a flag at each of the 18 holes for £100, including a branded flag of your choice.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day at the golf clubhouse.
Prices are as follows:
- £350 for 4 ball team
- £450 for 3 ball team plus a BWFC legend
