Jeremy Simpson will oversee Wanderers’ Sky Bet Championship clash with Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.
An experienced official within the world of football, Simpson has been involved in the professional game since 2008. This weekend’s clash will see Simpson run the rule over his eleventh fixture of the campaign.
Mr Simpson last took control of a Bolton game back in February 2017, officiating Bolton’s Sky Bet League One draw with Bristol Rovers. A game in which Chris Long was sent off for two separate bookings.
So far this term, the Lancashire-based official has issued 39 yellow cards and one red.
Adam Matthews and Michael George will run the line while Robert Lewis is the fourth official.
