Wanderers' No.31 David Wheater is calling on fans and Bolton residents to join him for a special sponsored dog walk next month to raise money for Mind and The Gem Appeal.
Team Kilimanjaro, a group which consists of Wheater's wife Laura and Andrew Lonergan's partner Jennifer, are aiming to raise £250k for two worthy causes - one of which is the EFL's official charity partner in 2018/19.
Fans are being invited to take part in 'Big Dave's Sponsored Dog Walk' on Sunday 2 September from 1pm onwards.
Starting out from the University of Bolton Stadium, everybody involved will walk up to Rivington Pike where the event will conclude.
The cost of taking part is £15 per family, but should you raise over £100, your entry fee is waivered.
