Trio set to leave

Bolton Wanderers have today confirmed that Darren Pratley, Karl Henry and Aaron Wilbraham will not be offered new deals when their current contracts end on Saturday 30 June.

Under-23s trio Jeff King, Cole Lonsdale and Ryan White have also been informed that they will not be retained by the club when their deals expire.

They join Derik Osede, Dorian Dervite, Chris Taylor, Jem Karacan, Mark Howard, Jan Kirchhoff and Chinedu Obasi who have already been informed that their deals won’t be renewed.

Long serving midfielder Pratley joined the club in 2011 from Swansea City and made over 160 appearances for the Whites as well as captaining the team.

Wilbraham arrived at the start of the 2017/18 campaign after leaving Bristol City and scored two goals for the club, including the sensational winner against Nottingham Forest on the final day of the season.

Henry, formerly of Stoke City, Wolves and QPR made 26 appearances for Wanderers after joining the club in September last year.

King made three senior appearances for the Whites while both Lonsdale and White have progressed through the club’s academy set-up, with all three players helping David Lee’s Under-23s win the Professional Development League National Title last season.

Manager Phil Parkinson said: “I would like to thank Darren, Karl and Aaron for all they have done for the club. I wish them, Jeff, Cole and Ryan well with their future endeavours.”
