Ben Alnwick named as Wanderers' Bolton KIA Player of the Month for February

Ben Alnwick has been voted Bolton Wanderers' KIA Player of the Month for February 2018 by the club's supporters.

The goalkeeper wins the award for the first time this season having continued to impress between the sticks for Phil Parkinson's side.

An ever-present throughout February, the 31-year-old kept three clean sheets from the Whites' six outings throughout the month as Bolton claimed vital victories over Bristol City and Sunderland and drew away at Norwich City to maintain their advantage of the Sky Bet Championship bottom three.

Supporters voted for the award on bwfc.co.uk with Alnwick claiming an emphatic 70.3% of the vote to seal victory.

Two-time winner Sammy Ameobi finished second (10.6%), while Adam Le Fondre rounded off the top three (6.3%).

Meanwhile, fan Nicole Adams has won hospitality in the Platinum Suite by voting, where she'll present Alnwick with his accolade at an upcoming Wanderers home game of her choice.
