INTERNATIONAL WATCH: Antonee Robinson kept waiting for USA debut

Antonee Robinson was an unused substitute for the U.S. National Team as they beat Paraguay 1-0 in an international friendly on Tuesday night.

Bobby Wood's penalty on the stroke of half-time was the difference at the WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina.

The Everton loanee, who has made 30 appearances and claimed five assists for Wanderers so far this season, was handed his first senior international call-up by Dave Sarachan after impressing for Phil Parkinson's men so far this season.

Robinson will be looking to maintain his form between now and the end of the season to stay in the international reckonining, with USA next in action in late May when they host Bolivia, before travelling to both Republic of Ireland and France for further friendlies in early-June.
