COMMUNITY

October was certainly a busy one in the community for Bolton Wanderers, with David Wheater kicking off the month with a special appearance at Smyths Toy Store to mark the release of FIFA18.

The Whites' No.31 then followed that up with a birthday surprise for young fan Declan who has suffered with ill health throughout his life to date, with him and Josh Vela turning up at the teenager's 13th party with Tony Kelly.

Adam Le Fondre and Antonee Robinson then made the short journey to Royal Bolton Hospital to support the children's ward 'Play In Hospital Week', with the pair donating games to the youngsters in their care.

Gary Madine and Ben Alnwick were also on their travels, with the duo in attendance at the Lancaster Whites Supporters' Group's latest social evening where they met with fans and answered their questions.

Towards the end of the month, there were signing sessions aplenty with Madine, Alnwick, Adam Armstrong, David Wheater, Darren Pratley, Filipe Morais, Josh Cullen, Reece Burke and Andrew Taylor spending the evening at BWFC Juniors' Halloween Party.

The vast majority of the first team squad were also in attendance at Bolton Central for a special half-term signing session, with Vela and Wheater visiting the Community Trust's football courses in the same week.

Sammy Ameobi and Karl Henry were the guests of honour at the BWSA's social event on October 19, and finally, Mark Little was on hand to present sports trophies to students at St Philip's C of E Primary School in Atherton.
