David Lee’s Under-23s will take on their Cardiff City counterparts on Monday evening in the Professional Development League at the Cardiff City Stadium, kick off 7pm.
Wanderers will be looking to build off of the back of their 0-0 home draw against Charlton Athletic on April 10, as they currently sit fifth in the league as they are unbeaten in their last five games.
The Whites currently sit on 43 points, with a victory potentially seeing the Whites move to second in the North section.
If this were to happen, along with other results going in their favour, the Trotters could qualify for the play-offs.
With 29 points on the board from a possible 78, Cardiff will be hungry to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat against Birmingham last time out.
