Coming off the back of a 3-2 victory against Sheffield Wednesday last time out, the boys will be looking to build on this with victory over their Railwaymen counterparts.
The U23s currently sit third in the North Section of the Professional Development League after 18 games, having won ten, drawn two and lost six of their outings so far.
When looking at Crewe meanwhile, they sit fifth in the North Section of the Professional Development League, three points behind the Trotters.
With 29 points taken from 19 outings, The Alex last 2-0 away at Leeds United last time out.
