International Round-up: Wanderers trio in action for their respective countries

Wanderers players Josh Magennis, Luca Connell and Stephen Duke-McKenna all represented their respective national teams during the most recent block of international fixtures.

Northern Ireland took on Belarus in a 2020 European Championship qualifier at Windsor Park.

Jonny Evans opened the scoring for the Green and White Army on the half hour mark, before Igor Stasevich levelled things up for the White Wings.

Magennis entered the fray for Michael O'Neill's side on 68 minutes, replacing Niall McGinn.

With three minutes remaining, the Wanderers striker latched onto the end of a low cross from Paddy McNair to earn all three points for his country.

Luca Connell represented Republic of Ireland Under-19s in theirUEFA U19 European Championship qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Russia.

He played the full 90 minutes in their 3-1 victory over Vugar Mammad's men, before playing an hour in Ireland's 2-0 victory over Russia.

These results see the Boys in Green cruise through their group stage with an unblemished record and only conceding once in their three games.

Heading to the Caribbean, where Duke-McKenna replaced Emery Welshman with 11 minutes to spare as Guyana defeated Belize 2-1 in the CONCACAF Nations League fixture.
