A Message to Fans Ahead of Tomorrow's Remembrance Day fixture against Fleetwood Town

Ahead of our Game on Saturday we shall be observing a minutes silence. We encourage all our fans to be seated in the stadium for 2.50pm to greet our special guests from The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment, The Royal Lancers Regiment, The Royal Engineers Regiment, The Royal Artillery Regiment and the Royal Air Force.

We shall hold our act of remembrance led by our Club Chaplain.

The Ode of Remembrance will be read whilst wreaths are being laid. This will be followed by the playing of the last post and a minutes silence that will conclude with Reveille followed by the referees whistle.

Amongst our special guests will be Bill Goslin and family. Bill is the son of Harry Goslin our club captain of 1939 and Wanderers hero. (You can read his story here).

Cadets will be selling poppies ahead of the Game and the players will be wearing the poppies on the shirts all raising money for the Royal British Legion.

We highly advise all fans attending Saturday’s game against Fleetwood Town to be in their seats by 2:50pm for this Act of Remembrance.
