Club Update: COVID-19

From 5pm on Friday 20 March until further notice and to protect the health and well-being of all our employees and their families following the COVID-19 pandemic, Bolton Wanderers Football Club has announced that the below measures will come into operation after receiving the developing guidance issued by the Government and the EFL.

Sharon Brittan, Chairman of Bolton Wanderers, said: “We are in unprecedented and challenging times, but the health and well-being of all our staff and supporters is at the forefront of our minds.

“We have therefore decided to take sensible precautions to protect their welfare by making some alterations to our usual working practices.

“Where it is possible, our colleagues will be working from home in order to protect them and their families’ well-being.

Whilst looking after ourselves and our loved ones, I would urge us all to keep an eye out for our neighbours, especially those in our community who are the most at risk.

“We must always heed the advice given to us by experts as we all have a very important role to play in minimising the spread of COVID-19.

“What matters now, above all else, is civility, common sense and community spirit.

“On behalf of everybody at Bolton Wanderers, I would like to send you our best wishes. Stay safe and follow the latest advice issued by Public Health England.”
