Bolton Wanderers Football Club is saddened to learn of the passing of our former player John Manning at the age of 80.
John had a 14-year career between 1962 to 1976 as a forward playing for Tranmere Rovers, Shrewsbury Town, Norwich City, Walsall, Crewe Alexandra and Barnsley.
Born in Liverpool, John represented Wanderers between 1969 and 1971.
The thoughts of everybody at Bolton Wanderers are with John’s family and friends during this sad time.
