Wanderers face a local derby in the FA Youth Cup after being drawn away to Accrington Stanley.
The young Whites face a trip to their Lancashire neighbours in the second round with the tie to be played before 20 November on a date to be confirmed.
Wanderers received a walk-over in round one after Hartlepool United pulled out of the competition, while Stanley advanced with a 4-3 win over Wigan Athletic.
Meanwhile, Wanderers went out of the Lancashire FA Youth Cup thanks to a 4-1 home defeat by Blackpool on Saturday.
