Bolton Wanderers swooped to secure Dorian Dervite's signature in the summer of 2014 with the Frenchman agreeing a three-year deal with the club.
Dervite started his professional career with Tottenham before leaving to sign for Spanish side Villarreal, while he has also represented France at every youth level through to the Under-21s.
Initially finding himself on the substitutes' bench at the start of the 2014/15 season, an injury to David Wheater allowed him to establish himself in the Whites back-line as he made 43 appearances during his first year at the Club.
Striking up a partnership at the back with compatriot Prince-Desir Gouano at the start of the following season, a mixture of suspension and injury limited the defender to 26 appearances during the 2015/16 season.
Still managing to net his first Bolton goal against Cardiff City in December 2015, a knee injury against Birmingham City the following February saw his campaign ended prematurely.
