Liam Edwards signed for the Wanderers’ academy in 2017 from Stoke City’s academy.
Since then, the defender has been on loan at Southport for the 2018/19 season, where he made 22 appearances. In August 2019, Edwards made his first professional appearance for Bolton, and has since made two appearances for the Whites in the 2019/20 season
