The Romanian youth international joined Wanderers at Under-15 level and has progressed through the academy setup at Lostock.
In 2017/18, Politic was a key figure in Wanderers U23s triumph in the Professional Development League. In the final against Nottingham Forest, the winger scored the second goal that ultimately earned David Lee’s men the trophy in a 2-1 victory.
The following season, Politic went on loan to Salford City, plying his trade in the Vanarama National League.
He played 11 times for the Ammies, scoring two goals including a screamer from the halfway line against Dover Athletic.
