Thomason joined Bolton from Longridge Town in January on an 18-month contract.
He scored two goals for Longridge Town in 2019/20 and made 26 appearances for the club. He then impressed for Bolton U-23’s and was offered a contract. Thomason had been a Blackpool player until this season.
