Date of birth

180 cm

Mark Davies moved to Bolton in January 2009, after the Whites agreed an undisclosed fee with Wolverhampton Wanderers for his services.

Having arrived at the club in January 2009, Mark Davies is currently contracted to Wanderers until the summer of 2017 having signed an extension back in 2013.

Originally a product of the youth academy at Wolves, he rose through the ranks to make his first team debut against Leeds United in August 2005.

He went on to make a total of 35 appearances for the Black Country outfit before spending time on loan at Leicester City.

He made his first appearance for Wanderers in early 2009, as a second half substitute in the 2-2 draw with Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park and was subsequently handed his full debut three days later in the 3-2 home victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Netting his first goal against Tranmere Rovers the following season, his first Premier League strike came in the 2-2 draw with Blackpool in November 2010 and was later named as the club's Goal of the Season.

He has made over 200 appearances, scoring 16 goals, during his time with Wanderers - a figure that surely would have been higher had it not been for injury.

After recording 39 appearances during the 2015/16 season, Davies' following campaign was cruelly ended prematurely after he suffered a cruciate ligament injury against Charlton Athletic in August 2016.
