Reece Burke joined Bolton Wanderers on loan in August 2017, reuniting with manager Phil Parkinson having previously played under him during a loan spell with Bradford City.
Signing temporarily from Premier League West Ham United alongside team-mate Josh Cullen, the England youth international came off the bench on the opening day of the season to make his Whites debut against Leeds United.
Prior to his move to Macron Stadium, the 20-year-old enjoyed a successful campaign with the Bantams in 2015/16 before experiencing Championship football with Wigan Athletic last season.
