International Football Development

International

Welcome to the Bolton Wanderers International Football Development Programme.

Our aim is to bring footballing excellence to the global football family by sharing knowledge, creating opportunities and developing talent.

Formed in 1874, Bolton Wanderers is a founder member of the Football League – a club steeped in history, heritage and a deep love and understanding of the beautiful game.

Our International Football Development Programme is exclusively delivered by qualified and skilled Bolton Wanderers coaches, who possess the passion and ability to bring that knowledge to the rest of the world.

A multi-strand programme, we can accommodate international groups at the home of the Wanderers and also facilitate education programmes on the ground in locations across the world.

And now, we are actively seeking to establish new links with clubs that want to tap into this knowledge, capitalise on this fantastic opportunity and create lasting and fruitful partnerships.

Learn more below about the programme and see how you and your club can become part of the Bolton Wanderers family.

International Development Programme Hosted at BWFC

Working with our FA and UEFA qualified staff, we will create a bespoke package that is tailored to the needs of your players to ensure every minute of their time at Bolton Wanderers is valuable, educational and inspiring.

  • The chance to train at BWFC’s multimillion pound training facility, The Eddie Davies Academy.
  • The opportunity to take part in competitive fixtures against teams based locally to Bolton Wanderers, including games against the BWFC Development Squad.
  • Access to performance analysis sessions.

  • A behind the scenes tour of the University of Bolton Stadium, gaining a full insight into the running of a professional football club and its 28,000 seater stadium.
  • The chance to watch a League One fixture at the University of Bolton Stadium.
  • A visit to the Football Museum in Manchester and tickets to a Premier League fixture at Manchester United or Manchester City.
