Davies Out For Three Months

Mark Davies sidelined after undergoing operation on shoulder injury

Mark Davies is set to be sidelined for up to three months after undergoing surgery on a shoulder injured sustained in last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Huddersfield Town.

“Unfortunately we’ll lose Mark for a period of time,” Dougie Freedman explained in his pre-match press conference. “He’s cracked his shoulder and unfortunately in football these kind of incidents occur.

“Mark loves his football and was desperate to stay on at Huddersfield. Unfortunately he was in some discomfort on Monday morning and the scan confirmed the news.”

Wanderers will also be without Matt Mills for this weekend’s visit of Charlton. The defender limped off with a thigh problem at Huddersfield and is expected to be out for up to six weeks.
