Spaniard wins the fans' vote for 188BET monthly gong
Marcos Alonso has claimed the club’s 188BET Player of the Month award for March.
The Spaniard, who featured in every minute of Wanderers’ five games throughout the month, topped a fan poll on the club’s official Facebook site, claiming 43 percent of the vote.
The left-back was also the match-winner in the home game against Brighton, netting the only goal of the game with a low drive from distance.
Craig Dawson and Jay Spearing finished second and third respectively, with 15 and 13 percent of the votes.
