Striker nets first goal for loan club Charlton
Marvin Sordell was the only Bolton Wanderers loan player in midweek cup action.
The former Watford man netted his first goal for Charlton Athletic in their Capital One Cup tie at Huddersfield Town.
Chris Powell’s men were eventually defeated 3-2 at the John Smith’s Stadium, with Sordell putting the Addicks in front on the hour mark.
Sordell was also booked, as he completed the full 90 minutes.
Gary Fraser was not involved in Partick Thistle’s 3-1 extra time cup win over Cowdenbeath.
