Former player passes away, aged 52
Bolton Wanderers are saddened to hear of the passing of former player Paul Comstive, aged 52.
After signing for the club 1989 from Chester, Comstive would go on to make a total of 67 appearances for Bolton, scoring five goals.
Comstive is probably best remembered for twice scoring directly from a corner kick against Bournemouth on New Year’s Day in 1991.
