Bolton Wanderers hosted their annual Fans Forum event on Monday evening, with over 450 supporters packing into the Lion of Vienna Suite.
Fans had their questions answered by a panel consisting of Dougie Freedman, head of sports performance Mark Leather and head of analytical development Brian Prestige.
Questions were focused mainly on transfer speculation, with other topics such as which clubs Dougie Freedman thought were promotion candidates and the starting 11 also being discussed.
The annual event was a success with Bolton fans quick to praise the manager through social media. Bolton fan Richard Hornby who attended the event commented on the club’s official Facebook page saying: ‘Great to have a manager so open, approachable and willing to connect and communicate with the club!’
Another fan, Susan Clarke, also commented on Facebook saying: ‘Great evening with a very honest, informative and open manager. Very keen to connect with the fans – keep up the good work Dougie and Co. Good luck for the season can’t wait!!’
