After 73 days without a game, Bolton Wanderers will kick-off their 2013/14 pre-season schedule at Rotherham United
The squad have recently returned to English shores after an intense training camp in Spain, and will be looking to build on their fitness against Steve Evans’ Millers.
It will be the first of four games inside ten days for Wanderers’ first team, and Tuesday night’s game will present the first opportunity for Bolton supporters to visit United’s new 12,000 all seater
Prices for the game are as follows:
The former Crawley Town manager has been quick to work developing his squad, with former Chesterfield right-back Richard Brindley and ex-Carlisle goalkeeper Adam Collin the first of seven new faces at the New York Stadium.
United have recently returned from a pre-season tour of Scotland and finished on a high with a 4-1 win at Ayr United on Saturday courtesy of a brace from Alex Revell and strikes from Mitchell Rose and Ben Pringle.
The Glaswegian began his career at Celtic, before spending a brief spell in Sweden at Östersunds FK. Tidser soon returned back home to his native Scotland to join Greenock Morton where his reputation began to grow.
After three seasons at Cappielow Park, Tidsar opted to try his luck south of the border, agreeing to join Rotherham United ahead of the 2013/14 campaign.
The referee for Tuesday night’s game will be Mr Mark Heywood from West Yorkshire. Heywood, an experienced match official, refereed 40 games last season, handing out 108 yellows and four red cards.
The last time Heywood refereed a Wanderers game was in April 2013, when Dougie Freedman’s men won 2-1 away at Bristol City.
