Birmingham reaction: Feeney on camera

Winger offers his views on the St Andrew's victory

Liam Feeney explained that it was ultimately a collective team effort which earned Wanderers their first victory of the season against Birmingham.

The winger, whose energetic performance earned him the man of the match accolade, admitted that although he was pleased with his own individual display, the three points were down to the hard work of the side as a unit.

"It was professional," he said. "The last half an hour, they brought Zigic on and they were just playing diagonally and they made us defend.

"Sometimes it’s going to be hard with the cameras here and everyone watching and all eyes were on us looking for our first win, but I didn’t see any kind of nerves out there."

He added: "I thought the lads were brilliant – we stood up and put on a really good performance to get that first win and I think we really deserved it."
